Before typing a password, make sure the address belongs to the XX5 page you meant to open. A saved login can contain an old password or the wrong email. Enter the details yourself once; if you cannot remember them, request recovery instead of trying a string of guesses.

Recovery emails sometimes land outside the inbox. Find the latest one, inspect its destination and complete the reset while that link is still valid.
Your email or phone is part of account security. Keep it accessible and never pass a login code or reset link to another person.
Check spelling first, then test a fresh browser session. Review the clock, connection and service announcements before assuming the profile has been restricted.
